Epidemiologist Alimehmeti publishes latest study: This is the most dangerous variant of COVID-19

Epidemiologist Ilir Alimehmeti has published a recent study regarding the riskiness of the COVID variant, Omicron compared to Deltan.

Alimehmeti says Omicron has less risk of hospitalization and loss of life compared to Delta. After hospital data from South Africa, Scotland, England, USA and Canada, he stressed that confirmation has also come from Portugal.

Researchers of the official health authorities in Portugal researched in detail and republished on 23 January 2022 data on:

9,397 infected with Delta and

6,581 infected with Omicron.

The results clearly show that Omicron has less risk than Delta!

Hospitalized:

 148 (1.6%) of those infected with Delta and

 16 (0.2%) of those infected with Omicron.

75% lower risk of hospitalization with Omicron compared to Delta.

 Loss of life:

26 (0.3%) life loss with Delta and

0 (0%) life loss with Omicron.
