Analyst Milaim Zeka said in an interview for Euronews Albania that in 2007, he was informed by the police that a person was preparing an assassination attempt on him and his wife, because of his profession as a journalist.

"Citizens neither in Albania nor in Kosovo have faith in the state. The first person with the pseudonym Japan, the same person when, in 2007, the crime police in Kosovo came to our door and warned us that this person was caught in wiretapping organizing an assassination attempt against me because of my work as a journalist. said Zeka.

He further underlined that the state does not work to catch these people who actually endanger the lives of citizens. Zeka added that the publication of emails should be viewed with positivity.

"The Albanian state, the Albanian prosecutor's office in Shkodër and Kukës have arrested Kosovars and sentenced them to 7 years in prison just because they found a gun in a car even though they had a permit for the weapon. Imagine what the Albanian police did to Fjolla Moria. A pistol was found in the car of an artist and she was sentenced to 7 years in prison.
