The former Prosecutor of Serious Crimes, Eugen Beci, spoke in the studio of the Review show in Euronews Albania regarding the investigations conducted by SPAK regarding the involvement of the former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj in the case of incinerators.

Beci emphasized that the actions taken by the prosecutor's office with the control and sequestration of the apartments show that the investigation has progressed and the accusation is towards the decision to arrest or not the former deputy prime minister.

"The fact that a home inspection was carried out, the fact that a preventive seizure was imposed, the fact that the letter orders were started, shows that concrete evidence, concrete data has been collected, that there may be reasonable suspicions of violation of the law on the part of the deputy prime minister.

All this results in the problem that the Special Prosecutor's Office has advanced excessively in this investigation and it is almost in the decision that a prosecutor must take, to set the security measure for Ahmetaj. To put it simply, should he be arrested or not", said Beci.
