Today, the Albanian ambassador in Turkey gave more information about the situation in the country, after the devastating earthquake that caused over 5000 victims.

Invited to the show "Albania LIVE", Ambassador Kastriot Robo stated that there is a perfect organization of the Turkish authorities to cope with the situation, but everything is made difficult by the bad weather. Asked if there are any injured Albanians, he said that there are no reports of Albanians who have lost their lives or who are found among youths.

"The country is on maximum alert. What stands out is the perfect organization of the Turkish authorities to deal with the situation. Emergency teams perfectly organize rescue operations. Bad weather, however, makes work very difficult. There are separate groups for rescue, research, feeding and care of residents and animals. Special groups for transport. An extraordinary organization.

Fortunately, so far we have not found any Albanians dead or under the ruins. In the lines we have for Albanian citizens, we have helped some Albanians who have asked for help from us. We have guided them. There is a tendency of people moving away from those areas to other areas and to their families. People are being taken to Bodrum, and to the shore where large ships are installed," said the ambassador.
