The Tirana police have revealed details of an accident that happened yesterday evening on "Konferenca e Peza" street, where the vehicle driven by a girl collided with the side curbs and a tree.
According to the authorities, the vehicle was driven by a 22-year-old woman in a drunken state.
The driver, who did not even have a driver's license, refused to obey the order to stop the officers and drove away quickly, losing control of the vehicle.
"Road Traffic Specialists arrested SD, 22 years old, resident in Tirana, after on 27.05.2023, around 11:50 p.m., he was found by the Police services, driving the vehicle without a driving license and in a drunken state. The 22-year-old woman did not obey the orders of the police services to stop, but continued moving and on the road "Konferenza e Peza", she lost control over driving the vehicle and the vehicle went off the road", the blue uniforms announce.
As a result, the driver of the vehicle and the passenger who was with him, a citizen of EQ, 25 years old, were injured, and they are out of danger.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions.
