In the e-mail of the Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR), one of the organizations that organizes the festival "Good day, dobar dan", has received a report on the placement of a bomb.
The announcement came shortly after the festival, which presents the cultural and social scene of Kosovo in Serbia, officially opened on Thursday around 18:00 at the Center for Cultural Decontamination in central Belgrade.
It has been announced that the public and participants will be evacuated from the center so that the police can control the space.
"We believe this is another pressure on the festival," said Sofija Todorovic of YIHR.
A day before the official opening ceremony of the festival, on May 25, an exhibition of photographs "All Our Tears" dedicated to the victims of the wars in the former Yugoslavia was opened in Belgrade, which is also part of the festival program.
From 19:00 it was planned to play the play "Stifler" directed by Kushtrim Koljic.
RSE reporters report that there are no right-wing groups gathered in front of the Center for Cultural Decontamination.
The festival "Mirëdita, dobar dan", since its establishment in 2014, has been accompanied by protests by right-wing organizations and parties in Serbia - they demanded a ban on the festival and tried to prevent its holding.
The program of the ninth festival, according to the organizers, is a combination of art, contemporary cultural scene and raising important issues in times that are a great challenge for Kosovo and Serbian society.
"There is a big gap between Serbian and Kosovar society. The festival is trying to reduce that gap until it disappears, while political elites are working to deepen it, "Fiona Jelici of the Human Rights Organization (YIHR), one of the organizations organizing the festival, told Radio Free Europe (RFE). .
The festival "Mirëdita, dobar dan" has been held in Belgrade since 2014, with the aim of creating a platform for cooperation and dialogue between the citizens of Serbia and Kosovo.
