Aleksandër Çipa: What is one of the issues of the crisis of today's society

The head of the union of journalists, Aleksandër Çipa, in a television interview said that there is a growing tendency of aggressive relations between the media and the authorities.

He said that some of the issues of the functioning of political power are defective in today's democracy of the country, while adding that our society is not very social.

Aleksandër Çipa: We are seeing a growing trend of aggressive relations between the media and the authorities. The media is a mirror and when it is intentionally misused, again it does not lose its mirror function. Some of the issues of the functioning of political power are defective in today's democracy. Here I am talking about its two mechanisms, accountability and transparency. Our society is not very social, because the state has never been social with us. 

Çipa further said that the way you should be represented in Albanian politics is one of the issues of the crisis of today's society. Among other things he said that the transition has lost its validity and function.

The fact that we still have as representatives and dominant protagonists of the political scene and decision-making, a good part of the protagonists of the post-communist transition means that we are not only a stagnation but unfortunately subject to a Quo status established by this leadership that does not release itself from the position it holds.
