The arrest of the former agent / The American journalist reveals new details: McGonigal's girlfriend sent an e-mail to the FBI, requested his investigation

American journalist Mattathias Schwarz says that Allison Guerrero, the extramarital girlfriend of former FBI official Charles McGonigal, has stated that she sent an e-mail to the FBI about his investigation.
In an exclusive interview for the "Review" show, Schawarz said that this has not yet been confirmed and added that he himself has not seen the e-mail.
According to him, it is known that McGonigal received money from representatives of the Russian oligarch, Oleg Deripaska.
"It is a very fair question. We still don't know the answer. Allison Guerrero has sent an e-mail to the head of the FBI office in New York, where he writes to investigate McGonigal and the trips to Albania, but this has not yet been confirmed. I have not seen the e-mail and I do not know yet if those who received this e-mail could have taken any action.
We know that Charles McGonigal has received money from representatives of Oleg Deripaska - the Russian oligarch. Two or three years ago, when the FBI conducted a house search at Oleg Deripaska's home in the US, they may have found evidence linking Oleg Deripaska to Charles McGonigal, and perhaps from there the suspicion that McGonigal was working with Oleg Deripaska in violation of to the American law on sanctions", he emphasized.
