Four people are arrested in Tirana, the police come out with the latest announcement

Services of Police Station No. 6, following the work to crack down on cases of illegal possession of weapons, based on the information intelligence that armed persons were circulating on the Ndroq-Tirana road, with a "Mercedes Benz" type vehicle, they immediately organized the work to capture them and have finalized the coded police operation "Bridge".

As a result of this operation, the following citizens were arrested in the act:

– AV, 35 years old, AV, 42 years old, F. Rr., 35 years old, and B. Gj., 22 years old, all four residents of Durrës.

In the place called "Ura e Beshirit", the Police services have stopped the "Mercedes Benz" type vehicle, driven by citizen F. Rr., and 3 other citizens as passengers. During the inspection of the vehicle, two pistols were found, one of them with a grinder, ammunition, 3605 euros and 2000 new lek. Following the actions, during the inspection of the residence of citizen B. Gj., a sword was found.

As material evidence, two pistol firearms, a sword, the amount of 3605 euros and 2000 new lek, the vehicle and 6 mobile devices were seized.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
