Journalist Klodiana Lala spoke today about the assassination that happened today in Vlora, where two people were killed.
Lala states that the two murdered persons were 'sold' by their confidants. Lala said that in the first moment that Shpati Lena and Hakim Xhezo were 'unsafe' since they did not travel with an armored vehicle as they always did. Comparing the cases, Lala said that the first moment a person with 'problems' makes a mistake, they are killed.
"Shpati Lena and Hakim Xhezo have been sold from within, they have been betrayed by their close circle. The first moment they moved uncertainly, at that moment they were shot. This is not the first time this has happened. Aleksandër Sadikaj was killed the moment he came out of his safe circle. Brilant Martinaj was killed the first moment he was not moving in an armored vehicle," said Lala.
What happened today?
The serious incident happened at the Panaja crossing on the Fier-Vlora axis at 09:00 this morning. Lena and Xhezo were traveling in a simple "Mercedes Benz" type 'B Class' vehicle with license plate AB 036ET, when the assassins started shooting at them. Riding in a "BMË" vehicle with Italian license plates, the perpetrators started shooting at Lena and Xhezo's vehicle from behind. For 200 meters they fired in bursts emptying at least 60 Kalashnikov bullets. First they shot them from behind, then they went parallel and finally they hit the front window of the car which apparently was fatal for the lives of the two young men.
