What are the main problems of the capital? Here's what the citizens say

The barometer in Euronews Albania in the second measurements about the problems of Tirana, has asked citizens over 18 years old and with the right to vote in the Municipality of Tirana, in a sample of 1000 face-to-face interviews, conducted in the period February 23 - March 6, 2023 .

The findings of the survey on Tirana's main problems are:

Traffic and time spent in the capital is listed as the main problem in Tirana. 38.6% of citizens think that this is the main problem. This perception of the capital's residents has increased from February to March by 8.3%.

Even the cost of living in the capital is ranked second in terms of the main problems of Tirana. 33.3% of citizens think that the main problem in Tirana is the cost of living. This perception of citizens has increased from February to March by 8.6%.

The road infrastructure ranks third as a main problem of the capital. 23.8% of citizens think that road infrastructure remains a problem, but their perception has suffered a decrease of 2.2% from February to March.

17.3% of citizens listed public spaces and parks in Tirana as problematic. Compared to February, citizens' perception that public spaces and parks are problematic has increased by 3.1%.

Another problem that according to citizens remains problematic is constructions and density. If in February 17.3% of the capital's inhabitants thought that constructions and density were problematic, in March this perception decreased by 1.4%.

Drinking water and sewage, according to the perception of citizens, is another problem of the capital. In February, 19.7% of citizens thought it was a problem, but in March, this perception has decreased. Of the 19.7% of citizens who thought of it as such in February, in March 15.2% say that it is problematic.

Parking, costs and spaces for the residents of the capital are problematic. If in February 7.5% of the citizens listed it as a problem, in March this perception increased by 6.6%, increasing the percentage of citizens who think it is a problem by 14.1%.
