Criminalistics expert Fation Softa has expressed that he sees the extradition agreement between Albania and Dubai as far-fetched.
In an interview for the show "Review" in Euronews Albania, he emphasized that high-risk persons are taking refuge in Dubai, seeing the latter as a criminal paradise.
"Albania's policies towards Dubai have a different intensity, they have a tendency to create a kind of rapprochement with this country. People with a high degree of risk are and are increasingly taking shelter, seeing Dubai as a criminal paradise. The Albanian law enforcement bodies have not been able to control and block the assets of their finances. As for the attempt to create connections and agreements, it is to be commended, but I do not know how far it is to take this expectation. I see an extradition agreement between Dubai and Albania as long-term," said Softa.
