A 42-year-old man remained asphyxiated after setting fire to his apartment. The event took place tonight around 22:05, on "Memo Meto" street in Tirana. According to official sources, the citizen Igli Alianji, 42 years old, who is suspected of suffering from mental health problems, set fire to his apartment. Police services and firefighters went to the scene, which made it possible to extinguish the fire and his eviction from the apartment.
Citizen Igli Alianji as a result of asphyxia was injured and is receiving first aid.
The investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the event.
