On December 6, the first summit between the leaders of the EU and the Western Balkans will take place in Tirana.
The official website of the Council of the European Union states that the summit is an opportunity to reaffirm the key importance of the strategic partnership between the EU and the Western Balkans, a region with a clear EU perspective.

EU and Western Balkan leaders will discuss ways to deepen political and political engagement, with a particular focus on young people.
