Journalist Poli Hoxha said in the Now show on Euronews Albania that SPAK is the institution most "captured" by the Americans, in terms of loyalty to the law.
According to him, in the first 3 years of SPAK's existence, certain prosecutors were caught by politics, which, according to him, also caused the irritation of the Americans, who have invested a lot in this institution.
"If we continue with the rhetoric that SPAK belongs to Edi Rama, then who put these others in prison? In SPAK, all parties have put their hands in, I say this with a guarantee. In the first 3 years, SPAK was miserable, so the Americans were also irritated because certain prosecutors caught them. If you went to the Special Court, that's another story. We are all dealing with SPAK and we don't know that hell on earth is there. If the Americans have grasped one thing, in the sense of loyalty to the law, it is the Special Court. Woe to those who go there!” said Hoxha.
