The former Prosecutor of Serious Crimes, Eugen Beci, says that in Albania there is currently a massive cultivation of cannabis, while for consumption, Bulqiza is the city that occupies the first place.

During the discussion on "Top Story" about Albanian cocaine traffickers in the world, Beci says that the problem starts with the large cultivation of cannabis in Albania.

The number of Albanians in Ecuador, he says, has increased significantly.

"In Ecuador there is a movement of Albanians from 3 thousand to 7 thousand currently. What do they do there? In the beginning they find the market. They are providers of assistance to important criminal organizations. They were guarantors of drug transport.

In Albania, we have massive cultivation of cannabis. We have a problem with legislation. We have had immigration for 32 years. Since then, a Persian who was born in England, Greece, Belgium, etc., is 32 years old today. Albanian legal bodies have zero information about him. This is a problem."

According to him, the DEA should investigate drug traffickers.

"The DEA is specifically for cocaine trafficking. Albania should be studied. Here, cocaine consumption in relation to the number of Bulqiza, is higher in Bulqiza. Bulqiza takes the first place in the country".
