Here are how many new cases with COVID were registered in the last 24 hours in Albania, the 'hottest' areas are revealed

The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others.

Any citizen over the age of 16 can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point.

Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor's recommendation.

MSHMS appeals to citizens who have passed 6 months from the second dose of vaccine, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.

AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.

The Ministry of Health reminds the citizens that the observance of anti-covid protocols is a necessity for the protection of health.

Mask placement is mandatory in any enclosed environment. Avoid crowds and ventilate your premises to limit the spread of Covid-19.

If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.

We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 4024 tests were performed, out of which were positive with COVID19, 1017 citizens, in the following municipalities:

618 in Tirana, 41 in Lushnje, 33 in Durrës, 30 in Berat, 29 in Fier, 25 in Vlora, 22 in Gjirokastra, 16 in Saranda, 15 Mallakastër, 12 in Kurbin, Krujë, Dibër, Devoll, 11 in Peqin, 10 in Kukës, Lezhë, Gramsh, 8 in Kavaja, 7 in Patos, Delvinë, Korçë, 6 in Shijak, Kamëz, Përmet, Tepelena, 5 in Vora, Pogradec, Kuçovë, 4 Divjakë, Skrapar, 3 in Shkodër, Has, Rrogozhinë, 2 in Puka, Tropoja, Mat, Memaliaj, 1 in Konispol, Libohova, Këlcyrë, Kolonjë, Poliçan, Librazhd.

There are 20,928 active COVID19 patients nationwide.

Currently 136 patients are receiving treatment in COVID hospitals, of which 16 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of the medical staff, there are two loss of life with SARS-COV2 positive: a 48-year-old citizen from Durrës, a 61-year-old citizen from Lushnja.
