"I address you as a mother, daughter and sister, get vaccinated" / Manastirliu sends you an ultimatum: The cases decreased, but the fatalities increased! Do not listen to broccoli…
Written by SOT.COM.AL 25 Shtator 2021
Given the increase in the number of people who have died due to COVID-19 in recent days, the Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu, through a message, addressed the citizens to be vaccinated, calling the most fast to approach the end of the pandemic.
"Do not neglect vaccination by listening to whose broccoli does not have even a minimum of humanity and responsibility. The challenge that some pose to science and medicine, the refusal to accept the opinions of the best experts in the World, who say that the vaccine is the most powerful weapon that humanity has today, is a frivolity that has serious consequences. And more serious consequence than the loss of life, I do not know to have.
So today I want to address you not only as Minister of Health, but also as a girl, as a sister and as a mother, to all those who have not yet been vaccinated. "Get vaccinated to save your life and the lives of your relatives", appealed Manastirliu.
Referring to the situation in hospitals, the Minister of Health said that the vast majority of patients are unvaccinated.
"Although the number of infections caused by Covid-19 has decreased slightly in recent days, unfortunately, the same has not happened with fatalities. Despite the efforts of doctors at our Covid hospitals, many citizens have not been able to win the battle for life. According to COVID hospitals, 95% of hospitalizations are unvaccinated. "Also, the vast majority of victims in Covid Hospitals are the lives of people who lost the war, due to not being vaccinated", Manasirliu underlined in her message.
The Minister of Health said that the data of the affected cases show us the effectiveness of anticovid vaccines.
"The incidence of cases who have been vaccinated and have passed the disease, regardless of whether they have been hospitalized or not, is 22 times lower compared to the incidence of cases who have not been vaccinated. Which shows the value of vaccination. The fact that in our weekly data the incidence of the disease is very high in the unvaccinated, as a measurement is 20-30 times higher, shows the significant effect of vaccines ", said Manastirliu.
Announcing the readiness of the medical staff every day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday, Minister Manastirliu made this appeal to the citizens:
"The world has eradicated many diseases through vaccines. Even in the fight against the invisible enemy, the fastest way to approach the end of the pandemic, is again the vaccine! Vaccination, as Pope Francis said a few days ago, 'is an act of love'. An act of love for oneself, for the parent, for the loved ones ".
Anticovid vaccination continues in every health center and centralized vaccination point, every day of the week, where every citizen +18 years old can be vaccinated with the ID card. Since the beginning of vaccination, a total of 1,693,555 doses of COVID19 vaccine have been administered, while 760,960 citizens have received both doses of the vaccine. So far, 2,045,310 anti-COVID vaccines have arrived in our country.
