In the studio of the show "Open" on News24 during the conversation about the case of former FBI agent McGonigal, journalist Klodiana Lala stated that Prime Minister Rama is not in danger from US justice.

Lala said that Rama can face criminal responsibility only if an investigation is opened by the Albanian Prosecutor's Office, which according to her should investigate who paid the money to McGonigal during his visits to Albania and who he met other than officials that are already known.

She further added that justice in the country has many indications of where it can be based, mentioning that the testimony of Agron Neza in the USA and that of Dorian Ducka, among others, can be obtained.

So far SPAK has not accepted the initiation of an investigation. We remember other cases where the prosecution has launched investigations after articles in magazines or newspapers. I have read the indictment and Rama is mentioned 14 times. This story is not American but belongs to the Albanian prosecution. It should be investigated who paid the money for McGonigal, where it came from. We don't know who he met, except for Rama, Gjiknuri and the 2 mayors. Today, Rama has a great moral and political obligation to come out and clarify this issue. Since the Mother Jones story opened, one in five of his words have been Russian rubles, and today his name appears in a story that started with rubles.
