Erald Mustafa, considered by the police to be part of the "Rrumit i Shijaku" group, was arrested on Saturday evening in Durrës, while moving with a weapon.

Mustafa, a person with a strong criminal record, is suspected of having planned a murder. The police themselves announce that he was handcuffed while he was going to kill a person, on suspicion of personal vendetta, although the police still do not know who was targeted by him.

Together with Mustafa, 37 years old, his accomplice, Klevis Kurdiu, 29 years old, who was driving in the same car with Aleksandër Laho's friend, otherwise known as "Rrumi i Shijaku", was also handcuffed.

The police emphasized that: "Specialists of the Serious Crimes Investigation Sector of DVP Durrës, thanks to the police intelligence that a citizen with a significant criminal record was walking around armed and planned to commit a murder, immediately organized the work and in cooperation with the Force Special Operations and "Eagles", have developed and finalized the coded police operation "Tentative".

As a result, in neighborhood no. 15, Durrës, the Police services have located the vehicle in which the armed citizen was driving and have intervened by implementing all the standard procedures for stopping a vehicle", informs the Police. It is learned that Erald Mustafa, had been walking around the city for 2 days trying to take revenge for the placement of the tritol that blew up his car on April 3, 2023.

The investigative group is still unclear as to who the target is, as the event that happened 6 months ago has still not been clarified. Before the investigators, Aldi Mustafa refused to give statements while his appearance in court is expected for the security measure today. The police emphasize that a "Scorpion" firearm with a silencer and combat ammunition was found in the vehicle. He is accused of the criminal offenses of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Disobedience to the order of police officers".

On April 3 of this year, still unidentified persons blew up his car by remote control.
