As a result of intensive work in every corner of the district, against the cultivation of narcotic plants, the services of the Kurbin Police Station organized the sixth phase of the anti-cannabis police mega-operation coded "Image", as a result of an investigation with proactive methods, launched since in April, by the Police of Kurbin, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë.

During the controls in the village of Skuraj, Kurbin, in a forested and difficult mountainous area, 31 small greenhouses were found and destroyed, inside which 3510 narcotic cannabis sativa plants were cultivated.

As a result of the intensive proactive investigation, it became possible to document this criminal activity with legal evidence, to arrest the citizen DM, 44 years old, and to announce the wanted citizen FM, 34 years old, as two of the suspected authors of these attempts to cultivated narcotic plants. The work for the capture of the 34-year-old continues.

In addition, the investigation identified other perpetrators of this criminal activity, to whom, due to the confidentiality of the investigation, we cannot disclose information.
