Firearms, rifles and binoculars were found hidden in the vehicle they were driving, and 2 citizens were arrested.

The services of the Lezhë Police Station, following increased checks, based on the information provided by the informational intelligence about a case of illegal possession of weapons, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Hidden".

During the operation, in the city of Lezhë, the police stopped the "Dodge" type vehicle, driven by citizen D. Gj. and the passenger, citizen AN. During the detailed check carried out in this vehicle, 1 firearm, a pistol with 5 cartridges in it, fennel and binoculars were found.

Following the actions, the citizens D. Gj., 25 years old and AN, 29 years old, both residents of the village of Tale, Lezhë, were arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses "Unauthorized possession of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and " Wearing the uniform without the right".

Also, as material evidence, the vehicle, the firearm, the pistol, the fennel, binoculars and mobile devices were seized.

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Lezhë Judicial District Court, for further action.
