A loss of life from COVID-19/ Ministry of Health comes out with the latest announcement

In the last 24 hours, 189 tests were performed, resulting in 6 citizens infected with Covid-19. There were five people infected with the virus in Tirana and only one in Durrës.

The Ministry announces that the virus has claimed the life of an 82-year-old man from Korça, while 14 citizens have recovered in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection calls on citizens not to neglect the anticovid vaccination and the flu vaccination, to strengthen the protection against viruses during the winter season.

Anticovid and flu vaccination is carried out in health centers throughout the country. Vaccines reduce the chance of infection and largely avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.

There are 151 active citizens with Covid19 throughout the country.

Currently, 7 patients are receiving treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital. In the last 24 hours, there has been 1 loss of life with SarsCov2, an 82-year-old citizen from Korça.
