The Pyramid of Tirana will host the Berlin Process summit

The pyramid is set to be the place that will bring together European and Balkan leaders at the October 16 summit of the Berlin Process that will be hosted by Tirana. This date will also be the day of its official inauguration after the inauguration that took place at the end of foreign affairs a few days before the May 14 local elections.
Before this important event for Tirana and the whole region, the premises of the Pyramid were used for the Forum for Mobility and Urban Design that brought together urban planners from different countries of Europe.
Mayor Veliaj admits that the choice was not random, but to show the urbanist friends the best Albanian example of urban and technological transformation.
"We can change the cities ourselves and if we orient them in a certain direction, the cities take shape. So this is what we want to do with this "provocation" that is the Pyramid of Tirana and this transformation that one of the most iconic spaces has undergone".
Tumo Tirana, the technology center where 1,000 young people from 12 to 18 years of age are currently studying for a series of technological programs, will also be moved to the premises of the Pyramid, which the mayor assures will triple after October.
