Does the country risk flooding again? The weekend brings extreme weather, here's what you'll face

The week has started with sunshine for Albania, but it will not end like this. In fact, certain areas of the country, such as Shkodra and Lezha, risk flooding again starting from Saturday evening and Sunday due to the very heavy rains that are expected to fall there.

Data from Meteoalb and regional meteorological stations indicate that starting from Saturday evening until Sunday, large amounts of rain will fall in the Shkodra region, which are estimated at more than 30 mm.

Cold air masses will come from the north and it is expected that a storm will form around Podgorica, Montenegro and Shkodra, discharging large amounts of rain.

There will also be rain during the week in the central and north-western part of the country, but they will be of a lower intensity.
