Tirana police have hit a gang of vehicle thieves in the capital. According to the blues, the three perpetrators opened the cars through the cloned keys, then sold them in Fushë Krujë and Mamurras.

As part of this operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

- EP, 35 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offense "Theft" committed in collaboration;

- ES, 39 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses "Theft" committed in collaboration and "Removal of a prisoner from the place of residence";

- LT, 30 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosives and ammunition" and "Unlawful possession of a uniform".

Also, their accomplices, citizens YK, 54 years old and KS, 36 years old, both residents of Tirana, have been declared wanted for the criminal offense "Theft" committed in collaboration.

POLICE NOTICE

The police operation codenamed "Cloned key" is successfully finalized, to crack down on criminal activity in the field of illegal possession of weapons and theft of vehicles.

The operation, conducted by the Police Commissariat no. 6, in cooperation with the Police Commissariat no. 2.

They stole vehicles using cloned keys, 3 citizens were handcuffed, one of them with the security measure "Home arrest". 2 of their collaborators are declared wanted.

3 cases of vehicle theft are uncovered and documented, using cloned keys.

A suspected stolen vehicle, stolen license plates, a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a rubber truncheon, a police radio and a vehicle that the perpetrators allegedly used during the thefts were seized.

Në kuadër të këtij operacioni u bë arrestimi në flagrancë i shtetasve:

– E. P., 35 vjeç, banues në Tiranë, për veprën penale “Vjedhja” e kryer në bashkëpunim;

– E. S., 39 vjeç, banues në Tiranë, për veprat penale “Vjedhja” e kryer në bashkëpunim dhe “Largimi i të burgosurit nga vendi i qëndrimit”;

– L. T., 30 vjeç, banues në Tiranë, për veprat penale “Mbajtja pa leje dhe prodhimi i armëve, armëve shpërthyese dhe i municionit” dhe “Mbajtja pa të drejtë e uniformës”.

Gjithashtu, janë shpallur në kërkim bashkëpunëtorët e tyre, shtetasit Y. K., 54 vjeç dhe K. S., 36 vjeç, të dy banues në Tiranë, për veprën penale “Vjedhja” e kryer në bashkëpunim.

Nga hetimet e kryera ka rezultuar se këta shtetas, në bashkëpunim me njëri-tjetrin, gjatë vitit të kaluar dhe këtij viti, me anë të çelësave të klonuar, kanë vjedhur automjete, në zona të ndryshme të Tiranës, të cilat i kanë shitur më pas në zonën e Fushë Krujës dhe Mamurrasit.

Në vijim të veprimeve, gjatë kontrollit të ushtruar në një subjekt në pronësi të shtetasit L. T., shërbimet e Policisë kanë gjetur targa të dyshuara të vjedhura, një shkop gome, një radio policie dhe çelësa makinash. Gjithashtu, gjatë kontrollit në një automjet të parkuar në këtë subjekt, u gjetën një armë zjarri kallashnikov, krehër dhe municion luftarak.

The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, for further procedural actions.
