Distributed drugs to pay the debt to the gang that trafficked him, the young Albanian suffers badly in Britain (NAME) 

A young Albanian man has been arrested by the British authorities after being caught with several packages of cannabis in his vehicle after a routine check. The British media reported that 31-year-old Eljo Agalliu was caught in his Volkswagen Passat, while at the time of the check he gave a false name to the officers.

During a further search of the back seats officers found Agalliu several sealed packets of cannabis in a plastic bag, believed to have a value of around £28,000.

It is understood Agalliu was working as a drug courier to pay off a £10,000 debt to a gang after being smuggled into the UK, prosecutor Emma Atkinson said. Agalli was jailed for eight months and had his driving license revoked after pleading guilty to possessing cannabis with intent to supply and also driving without insurance.
