The "McGonigal" scandal/ Journalist Artan Hoxha reveals the behind-the-scenes, what was the former FBI agent's relationship with Agron Neza

Investigative journalist Artan Hoxha says that former FBI official Charles McGonigal, now under accusation of cooperation with the Russians, interviewed an Albanian politician in Vienna. Hoxha said that McGonigal was accompanied by a US Department of Justice prosecutor when they met with an Albanian politician in Vienna and interviewed him. The role of translator in this meeting was played by Agron Neza.

The latter is a former agent of the Albanian secret services who has been living in the USA for years and has recently been accused of giving McGonigal $225,000 to encourage him to start the investigation into Lulzim Basha's Russian lobbying money. Hoxha said that it is not known what testimony the Albanian politician gave during the meeting with McGonigal and the American prosecutor in Vienna, but this testimony was not then made available to the American FBI.

Defendant McGonigal and a prosecutor from the Department of Justice interviewed a politician in Vienna, Agron Neza played the role of translator here. A Justice Department prosecutor travels to the US and takes statements from the Albanian politician. In the Muzin case, Agron Neza turns out to be the source.

The former FBI official did not inform the FBI about this matter, what was taken there. They have tried to keep the secret.
