The movements of the former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako, shortly before his arrest are revealed. Journalist Klodiana Lala claimed that Dako spent the last few days in Durrës, while continuing with his daily meetings, meeting close associates.
It is known that only yesterday, Dako arrived in Tirana, while he will have to explain to the lawyer how he became aware of the fact that SPAK had issued an arrest warrant and that he was headed towards the capital.
Lala also said that after he appeared at the Police Directorate of Tirana, he was transferred to detention where he spent the night. So far he has not shown any claims or health concerns. Among other things, the journalist said that in a communication with Dako's lawyer, Petrit Ismaili, that the former mayor did not accept the charge of abuse of office. Meanwhile, it is expected that the court will determine the security measure tomorrow.
