Journalist Genc Burimi said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the candidates nominated by Enkelejd Alibeaj are leaving because they don't want to bear the weight of defeat.
According to him, if a candidate from Berisha lost because of the votes that one from Alibeaj would receive, he would charge the latter with great responsibility.
"Because they fear that tomorrow they will bear the weight of the loss; traitor, massacre, dirty. Imagine if Berisha's candidate loses in Korça for those votes that Alibeaj's candidate will receive. It carries an emotional, political, historical weight", said Burimi.
