They traded watches, diamond and gold accessories without tax invoices, two business owners in Tirana suffer badly

Two store managers in the capital have been jailed after being accused of selling watches, diamond and gold accessories online without tax coupons.

As a result of the "Clock" operation, citizens Donald Sala and Klodian Zaçe were arrested. From both businesses, 228 watches of different brands, diamond and gold accessories, as well as 5,100 euros, 2,000 dollars and 121,400 ALL obtained from the sale of accessories, were seized.

POLICE ANNOUNCEMENT The
coded police operation "Clock" is finalized, as a result of continuous monitoring of economic entities that sell their products online, while 2 shop administrators have been arrested. The operation, from the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in the Criminal Police Department, in the General Directorate of the State Police. They sold online and in 2 stores in the capital, without tax invoices, watches of expensive brands, as well as diamond and gold accessories, the 2 administrators were put in handcuffs.

Also, materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, for non-performance of duty, for the employees of the Tirana Local Tax Directorate, which cover the areas where the 2 stores are located. From both businesses, 228 watches of different brands, diamond and gold accessories, as well as 5,100 euros, 2,000 dollars and 121,400 ALL obtained from the sale of accessories, were seized. As a result of intensive parallel monitoring of businesses that exercise their activity in physical and/or online units, in order to prevent illegalities in the economic-financial field and to protect citizens from fraud with products, the specialists of the Crime Investigation Sector Economic-Financial, in the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic-Financial Crimes, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Clock".

As part of this operation, 2 stores that sold watches and other accessories were traced, online and in physical units in the capital. During the checks in one store (not registered with the tax authorities), with administrator citizen DS, 195 watches of expensive brands and 19 pairs of glasses were seized as material evidence, while in the other store, with administrator citizen KZ, they were seized with the quality of the material evidence, 33 watches of expensive brands, diamond and gold accessories, as well as 5,100 euros, 2,000 dollars and 121,400 lek suspected of profiting from this criminal activity. Following the procedural actions for these cases, the administrators of 2 stores, citizens DS, 52 years old and KZ, 44 years old, both residents of Tirana, were arrested and imprisoned. Also, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, for the employees of the Local Directorate of Taxes in Tirana who cover the areas where the shops are, on suspicion of non-performance of duty. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions.
