Apart from cannabis and other narcotics, nitrous oxide is the new substance that is becoming a trend for young people in Albania. Doctor Leidon Shapo has raised the alarm about the negative effects of the nitrous oxide balloon. The doctor said that the nitrous oxide balloon can have different effects on different people. But he stated that in some people it causes more serious conditions, such as fainting or even nerve paralysis.

"To understand whether a suction balloon or an inflatable balloon is as important as it is made out to be, you have to look at the data and see how it interacts with the others. The balloon is known as gas or laughing gas, because after using a balloon depending on the person, for example a person who may have drunk 10 balloons may not experience anything, but there are also people who after 2 such balloons feel a state of hilarity, laughter, you may become dizzy, and there are even rare and severe cases where you may even faint or pass into nervous paralysis.

It is precisely these serious cases that have forced researchers and the parliament in Britain to make such a decision, which is: 'Anyone who produces and sells it can be punished with 14 years, who uses it openly and is caught can be punished up to 2 years imprisonment and other financial damages", the doctor emphasized.
