The mayor of Bulqiza, Lefter Alla, was arrested by order of SPAK, for abusing a tender for the construction of the water supply network, with a value of 322,439,000 new lek, with a time limit of 10 months.
But according to SPAK's announcement, in addition to Alla, several other officials were arrested, with whom he cooperated.
SPAK clarifies that "Alla, in cooperation with the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality, and other employees, as prosecution specialists, KVO members, have made it possible for BOE Egland shpk and BE-IS shpk to win this tender with documentation, creating advantages for this subject during the procurement procedure. At a time since the investigation, there are reasonable suspicions that the works were carried out by EO 2AF Albania shpk, a social connection of the Mayor".
