The murder of the rhapsody Kol Murrani and Preng Simon in April 2020 after discovering the plots with cannabis, the Appeal upholds the life sentence for Aleksandër Perdoda

Yesterday, the Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the court of the Lezhë Judicial District, for the life sentence of Aleksandër Përdoda for double murder. On April 27, 2020, Aleksandër Përdorda killed the rhapsody Kol Murani and his friend Preng Simoni, after the latter discovered in the village of Lalm i Vjetër of the Administrative Unit of Kolshi, that their lands were planted with cannabis. Aleksandër Përdoda pleaded guilty to committing the criminal offense of "Murder in other qualifying circumstances", committed in collaboration and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", provided for by articles 79 (dh) - 25 and 278/1 of the Criminal Code. Meanwhile, Agron Lushi, the defendant for the criminal offense of "Criminal Negligence", provided for by Article 300/1 of the Criminal Code, has pleaded not guilty.

How did the event happen?

Rhapsodi Kol Murrani and his friend Preng Simoni were found shot to death on April 27, 2020, near their old houses in the village of Lalm i Vjetër, in the Administrative Unit of Kolshi. They had gone to their homeland since the morning hours of that day, but were confronted by armed men who had planted cannabis on their lands. Without knowing what was happening on their lands in the deep mountainous area, Aleksandër Përdoda and Edmond Përdoda, shot them with a gun as soon as the two friends discovered his criminal activity. The bodies of the victims were left in the forest for about 5 hours and were found by Preng Simon's son, who had gone out to look for his father, with whom he had lost contact for hours. He found them without signs of life around 16:00 on April 27, 2020. while their execution is thought to have taken place around noon. Murrani and Simoni lived on the outskirts of the city of Lezha and on the day of the event, on April 27, 2020, they had left early in the morning by motorbike to go to the old houses they have in the village of Lalm i Vjetër. Prokuroria lë në burg të “fortin” e Prizrenit

Nga ana tjëtër, Prokuroria Themelore në Prizren, ka kërkuar dje zgjatjen e masës së paraburgimit ndaj Dibran Hoxhën dhe pesë të pandehurve të tjerë, të cilët akuzohen për vrasjen e të riut nga Kukësi, Visar Cengu. Prokuroria ka kërkuar vazhdimin e masës së paraburgimit për të pandehurin Dibran Hoxha, i cili dyshohet të ketë kryer veprat penale “Vrasje e rëndë” dhe “Mbajtja në pronësi, kontroll ose posedim të paautorizuar të armëve” dhe “Manipulim me prova”. Po ashtu, vazhdimi i paraburgimit është kërkuar edhe për pesë të dyshuarit e tjerë shtetasit me iniciale A.V., B.M., J.B., K.G., dhe E.A., të dyshuar për veprat penale “Manipulim me prova” dhe “Pjesëmarrja në rrahje”. “Më dt 03.01.2023, rreth orës 04:00, në afërsi të lokalit të tij “Kobra City”, që gjendet në rrugën magjistrale Prizren- Zhur, me armë zjarri, me dashje e privon nga jeta viktimën V.C, duke vë në rrezik jetën e të dëmtuarit R.Sh, të cilin e plagos dhe duke vë në rrezik edhe jetën e të dëmtuarit A.B, që të tre shtetas të Republikës së Shqipërisë, në atë mënyrë që për shkak të një mosmarrëveshje paraprake që kishin pas rreth pagimit të faturës në lokal, fillon përleshja në mes punëtorëve në lokalin “Kobra City”, me të dëmtuarit ku pas kacafytjeve dhe rrëmujës së krijuar në lokal, të dëmtuarit dalin nga lokali dhe pasi hypin në veturën “Mercedes” FA 19-PFX, me targa angleze, për tu larguar në parkingun e lokalit, paraqitet i dyshuari Dibran Hoxha, i cili me armë zjarri shtënë në drejtim të veturës, me ç’rast e qëllon të dëmtuarin V.C, i cili kishte qenë i ulur në ulësen e pasme të veturës dhe R.Sh, i cili kishte qenë i ulur në ulësen e përparme, dhe si pasojë e këtyre të shtënave me armë zjarri V.C ndërron jetë rrugës për në spitalin e Kukësit, derisa R.Sh nga plagët e marra nga Kukësi dërgohet në spitalin e Tiranës”, thuhet në kërkesën e Prokurorisë.
