He killed his compatriot with a knife, the Italian police take a drastic decision for the 42-year-old after the end of his sentence

The team of the Florence Police Station has carried out the deportation from the Italian territory of a 42-year-old Albanian detained until now in the Mario Gozzini prison in Florence, where he was serving a 14-year sentence for the crime of murder. 

The serious event happened in 2008 in Grosseto, where at the height of a fight, the 42-year-old Albanian stabbed a compatriot in the throat, causing his death.

The assailant was caught shortly afterwards bleeding by the State Police officers, while the 24-year-old man died as a result of his injuries.

The 42-year-old had just been released from prison, when the police chief of the province of Florence, Maurizio Auriemma, after receiving permission from the Albanian consular authorities, implemented the order of the alternative measure of deportation from the national territory, as the Albanian is considered dangerous.

Afterwards, the Albanian was escorted by the State Police to Pisa airport and boarded the plane by the specialized personnel of the Immigration Office to the country of origin.

Here he was handed over to the Albanian police authorities with a ban on returning to Italy for the next 10 years, unless he wants to end up in prison again.
