The Court of Appeal in Tirana has decided to postpone the hearing against the deputy of the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianjii, for the case already known to the public as "Babalja". The reason for this is the absence of one of the members of the judging panel, while the Court of Appeal says that another date is expected to be set for the next session, but without specifying it.
"Following the communications on the activity of the Tirana Court of Appeal, we inform you that: Today, 01.30.2023 at 1:30 p.m., the court session of the criminal case against the defendants Ervin Salianji, etc. is scheduled. We inform you that today, for objective reasons, one of the members of the jury will not be present. In the above conditions, the court session will not be able to take place. The day and time of the next session will be communicated as soon as it is set," the announcement states.
