The Transparency Board 'wakes up', fuel prices change, this is how much oil and gasoline will be sold from today

Even though fuels on the stock exchange are being quoted at pre-war levels in Ukraine, the Transparency Board has decided to keep it above ALL 200/liter of oil. It is learned that during today's day, the Board met by reducing the price of oil by only 1 lek. From 221 Lek/liter that was sold until now, from today afternoon it will be sold at 220 Lek/liter.

Meanwhile, gasoline will be sold at 199 ALL/liter from 207 ALL/liter that was sold until now.

Gas has remained unchanged at 81 ALL per liter.

The Transparency Board on July 6, 2022, at the next meeting, decided:

The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard should be no more than 220 ALL/liter, while the wholesale price no more than 208 ALL/liter.
The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 199 ALL/liter, while the wholesale price no more than 187 ALL/liter.

The retail price of the by-product gas should be 80 ALL/liter retail and 68 ALL/liter wholesale for vehicles.

(Note: the selling price for liquefied gas for vehicles will be the supply price at gas stations, while at other points for household and industrial consumers, the price should not include excise duty).

The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, July 6 at 18.00 pm and will be valid until the next meeting of the Board where the changes in the sales prices will be reflected.

We emphasize that the Board does not set the prices of crude oil, but of diesel, gasoline and liquid gas according to the standards defined in the Normative Act. The board adheres strictly to the movement of the Plats of the Mediterranean exchange for diesel, gasoline, as well as the official invoices of the operators. Not every movement of the crude oil exchange is reflected at the same time and to the same extent in the diesel and gasoline exchange.
The Board has only set maximum gross margins for wholesale and retail, with which operators must cover all operating expenses.
So, the decisions taken by the board and the change in sales prices are only related to the changes in the Platz stock market for diesel and gasoline, not the crude oil stock market, as well as the movement of the dollar exchange rate.
All other elements that form the price are fixed and the board does not make a decision on these.

We draw the attention of every wholesale and retail operator of oil by-products on the obligation to implement this decision.

In case of violations found by different operators, the suspension of the activity will be imposed.
