Zukali reveals details from the searches in the 2 collapsed buildings where many Albanians live: People with hands and shovels continue to search under the ruins for relatives

Bora Zukali, the chairman of the Association "Vatra e albanianve" in Istanbul, said in an interview for Euronews Albania, that 2 buildings with Albanians in Adana, Turkey, were completely destroyed by the earthquake.

According to him, there is still no information about whether there are dead people, as the search in that area has started today. Zhukali emphasizes that the destroyed roads make it difficult to move the aid and materials needed by the rescue teams

"The roads were damaged and destroyed by the earthquake. Many palaces and buildings collapsed. It is difficult for the car to enter those areas. People with hands and shovels continue to search the ruins for relatives.

The tremors continue even today, but they are not as powerful. Only two shots were strong. The port of Skenderun, the largest in that area, has been burning for two days. The fire has not gone out. Aid has arrived from Italy, Cyprus, Israel, Russia, but also from Albania and Kosovo. Everyone is trying to help the Turkish people and get people out of the ruins.

Many Albanians live in that area of ??the earthquake. There are many villages where Albanians live, but there is no problem, no death.

Only a few Albanians of Sanjak who lived in Adana have two palaces demolished there. Until yesterday we did not receive any news, today the president of the association in Adana has taken the team, started the machines with shovels and the necessary facilities that are needed. They're getting to that point and they're looking to get people out dead or alive as the clock is ticking. We are 34 hours after the earthquake, it is very cold and the snow is coming", said Zukali.
