What happened? Anthony Fauci comes out with the unexpected statement: Americans do not need the AstraZeneca vaccine!

U.S. Infectious Diseases Officer Anthony Fauci said the AstraZeneca vaccine has good efficacy.
The American doctor claims that the doubts about her safety must be resolved.
"I think the AstraZeneca vaccine is a good vaccine in terms of efficacy and if the security concerns in the European Union are resolved, the effectiveness of the vaccine is really quite good," Fauci said.
"Whether or not we will ever use AstraZeneca is unknown, but at this point it seems we will not need it. "It is not a bad decision for AstraZeneca, it is simply possible that given the supply of vaccines from other companies, we can not use it," he said, according to the Times.
European regulators are testing the AstraZeneca vaccine for clots while it has not yet been approved in the United States.
European regulators have identified a possible link between vaccines and clots, but stress that the benefits of vaccines outweigh the risks.
More than a dozen countries suspended use of the vaccine for a while, but then continued to use it, with some introducing a minimum age limit, including France, the Netherlands and Germany.
Officials in Britain have advised people under the age of 30 to get another vaccine. The AstraZeneca vaccine is by far the cheapest and does not require special storage conditions at extremely low temperatures like some vaccines, so it is the main vaccine in many vaccination campaigns.
