The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, in an interview with Reuters, has warned that Kyiv is at risk of an apocalypse if Russian bombings against civilian infrastructure continue.

"Kiev may lose electricity, water and heating supplies. The apocalypse can happen, like in Hollywood movies," said the mayor.

The former boxer assured that, despite the danger, it is not necessary to evacuate the residents and that everyone should be prepared in case the situation worsens.

In the capital of Ukraine, power outages have started for several weeks due to Russian attacks against the energy infrastructure that supplies the city.

"We are fighting and doing everything to ensure that this does not happen," Klitschko said.
