The Prime Minister of the Australian state of Victoria, Daniel Andrews has announced that citizens do not have to wear masks outside as no new cases or deaths have been recorded by Covidi for the 23rd day.
Andrews added that from 11:59 a.m. Sunday, citizens will continue to wear masks, but placement outdoors is not necessary.
"Masks have played an important role in reducing numbers," he told a news conference Sunday.
He added that the maximum number of persons allowed inside a house in a day and includes 30 family members in total, but not a gathering of 30 persons for lunch or 30 for dinner.
Gyms will also be reopened with 150 people allowed indoors and sports crowds will be allowed to return with groups of 300 people allowed to perform outdoor activities.
The number of guests at weddings and funerals is also expected to increase to 150 people, except when ceremonies are held inside a home in which case a maximum of 15 people will apply.
Host countries hard hit by the world’s worst blockade will also be able to host 100 people inside and 300 people outside.
