Former US President Donald Trump is expected to be arrested on Tuesday, based on a case handled by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. He made this statement on his social network, Truth Social, this Saturday.

"The favorite candidate of the Republicans and the former president of the United States will be arrested on Tuesday of next week. Protest, take back our nation," he wrote.

The investigations in this court are based on a payment of $130,000, which was made several weeks before the 2016 presidential election, to block Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, from going public about an affair that has said that he had it with Trump years ago.

Prosecutors are considering whether to charge Trump in the case. If the District Court District Attorney in Manhattan indicts Trump, then the 76-year-old will become the first former US president to be charged with crimes.
