Protests erupt in Belgrade: President Vucic is a traitor, he is selling Kosovo, the army and the police must stop him

Hundreds of Serbian citizens have gathered in front of the Assembly of Serbia in Belgrade, where the special session on Kosovo and the European Union's proposal for the normalization of relations is taking place, in which the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic, is also participating. The special session in the Serbian legislature continued with verbal and physical clashes between the opposition MPs and the Serbian president, while the protesters outside displayed placards that read "Vu?i? traitor", "Army, police, stop treason, protect the Constitution, stand with the people". "This is a circus and this is part of Aleksandar Vu?i?'s plan to portray himself as a hero fighting for the Serbian people, continuing with his treasonous politics," said one of the protesters, according to Danas. "There is only one thing that can be negotiated, that is the autonomy of Kosovo, inside Serbia... We will not allow the thesis that Serbia does not ask for anything, that Kosovo will definitely enter the Council of Europe and NATO", he said while announcing that they will continue to organize protests. We recall that in yesterday's session, the Serbian president spoke about the Franco-German proposal and the demands that the European-American five presented to Serbia, while the opposition described this plan as "capitulation for Serbia" and "You have handed over Kosovo". Opposition MPs chanted slogans such as "Treason", "Kosovo is the heart of Serbia" and "We will not give up Kosovo". They also carried banners with the inscription "No to capitulation, no to ultimatum". At the session on Kosovo in the Assembly of Serbia, representatives of the Serbian List, the main political force of the Serbs in Kosovo, and Milan Radoicic, its vice president, were also present.
