"The idea of ??sending 'some kind of peacekeeping troops' to Ukraine, if such a discussion is really serious, is potentially extremely dangerous."
This is what Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said to reporters on Friday, commenting on the statement of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who revealed such discussions within the EU, writes Tass.
"This is a statement that is very important to emphasize. If we are talking about some serious 'verbalizations', then this, of course, is an extremely dangerous discussion," he stressed.
Peskov noted that, in international practice, such forces are usually deployed with the consent of both sides.
"In this case, this is a potentially very dangerous topic," Peskov underlined.
