The 240 million ALL fund for social enterprises is approved, as a condition for

The government has approved the 240 million ALL fund for the period 2023-2025 to integrate and employ individuals of social enterprises. While evaluating it as a financial mechanism that makes possible the employment of groups in need and integrates them into society, the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu stated that the condition is that 50% of employees are individuals who are part of social protection schemes. The minister said that the decision creates opportunities for unemployed individuals from disadvantaged categories who are part of social programs to be employed with a minimum wage and have health and social contributions. "Today we approved a series of important decisions. We approved the decision on social enterprises and defines the forms of support for the social enterprise. This decision creates for the umpteenth time the support fund for social enterprises in the amount of ALL 240 million for the period 2023-2025. Forms of support through subsidies will make it possible for individuals who are part of unemployment programs to be employed so that the state subsidizes the minimum wage for them. This new form comes to support non-profit organizations. One of the elements, apart from the criteria they must meet, is that up to 50% of employees will be individuals who are part of social protection schemes", she declared. Meanwhile, Manastirliu emphasized that this form of support will affect the economic empowerment of people in need who are part of economic aid programs but will have the opportunity to reintegrate into the labor market. "These forms of support come within the framework of the economic empowerment of persons who are of active working age, part of the economic assistance programs but already have the opportunity to reintegrate into the labor market. We have worked hard to make possible the integration and reintegration of families that are part of our social programs", she underlined. In conclusion, the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu emphasized that through these programs, in 2022, more than 3,600 people who were part of the economic assistance program have been subsidized. We remind you that Social enterprises that are financed by the state will be more of an opportunity to reintegrate through employment the layers in need such as; women, persons with disabilities, persons leaving the economic assistance scheme or people in need who are excluded from the labor market.
