The Ministry of Finance has made the balance for the year we are leaving behind, while it has also disclosed some of its objectives for 2023. It was the Minister of Finance, Delina Ibrahimaj, who declared that the taxation of free professions will soon begin. In a press conference, the minister said that this measure will be taken because of evasion. "Innovation, the taxation of free professions is expected to begin, due to the evasion and benefit of some categories. There have been some employees who have decided to open businesses in order to benefit from the 0 profit tax policy. We wanted to support small businesses, such as markets, barbershops. She added that they have hopes that the public debt will be reduced to the end. "The average salary was 9.18% higher compared to last year. The main macroeconomic indicators have been consolidating, the public debt has been reduced, reaching 67.7%. We expect that by the end of the year it will reach 68.8% and will be reduced in the following periods. Inflation in November for the first time we had a lower average monthly inflation rate compared to October. I hope that this will be a downward trend, the inflation base will be greater in the future. The inflation rate for November is 7.9% from 8.3% in October, decreasing for the first time this year", said Ibrahimaj.

During the annual conference for journalists, the minister said that within the first 3 months it is expected that this law will be approved. "We have worked intensively during the last months with the aim of finalizing the legal changes in the gambling law. In order to allow online sports betting, being very careful to maintain those criteria and parameters that have been determined. We are in the process of finalization. With the start of the new year 2023, we will start the procedures for the approval of this law. In my opinion, within the first 3 months of 2023, this law is expected to be approved in the parliament", she said. "We will continue to hold the fuel board as long as fuel prices are higher than the average. When these prices are reduced, we will leave the operation of these boards", emphasized Ibrahimaj.
