The Backstreet Boys Christmas special that was filmed this month in Los Angeles has been canceled following rape allegations against Nick Carter. The special was set to air on ABC on December 14 and was set to feature Carter, AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson, Brian Littrell and Howie Dorough, but Variety confirmed it has been pulled.

The ruling came after Carter, 42, was accused of raping a 17-year-old girl in a caravan during the band's 2001 tour.

What was special about the holiday theme was that the members of this group would perform hits from their 10th album, A Very Backstreet Christmas. The disabled woman who claims Carter raped her cried during a press conference Thursday announcing her lawsuit against the star, who has since denied the allegations.
