One-way ticket only, Vesa Luma tells why she decided to finally return to Albania

New Zealand is among the most distant countries with Albania requiring more than 30 hours by plane, but for many years it became a second home for the family of Big Basta and Vesa Luma. The two artists and their 7-year-old son Lian found themselves and adapted to that place without predicting how long this journey would be.

But anyway, the "escape" came to an end. The couple returned to Tirana a few weeks ago with a one-way ticket. They have decided to return and continue their lives between Tirana and Kosovo, as many years ago.

Invited this afternoon to "Rudina", Vesa Luma confessed about her more than 6-year life in New Zealand, the benefits that country offers, but also about the reason why she and Big Basta made the decision to return to Albania : "In general, we stayed for 6 years. I've come and gone from time to time, but I haven't been able to adapt 100 percent, but when there's a child in the middle, some sacrifices have to be made, which most of us know. Geri and I are not people who love stability "we are here and we will stay here, we will end up here". We call ourselves residents of the globe, but every time we return to Albania and Kosovo, it's as if the country, the family lifts us up..." - says Vesa.

Further, the singer adds that before making a decision, they tried to think about the common good of the family, but especially about Lian, who is already very happy and has started school: "When we put them on the scale, we said that we should also allow the boy to grow up with his grandparents, to experience the pleasure of being a child with his grandparents, with his cousins, with new society, with more Albanian words and here we are".

Krusha was the place chosen by Vesa Luma. Everyone knows the story of the women of Krusha, after they lost their husbands and any male relatives, they were left alone. It was a moment when they had to take the reins of life in their hands, work and support their families: "There was nothing better than going back there.... ", said Vesa without hiding her emotion
