In the morning of today (March 23), the holy month of Ramadan began for the Muslim believers. For the whole month, people who belong to the Islamic faith and are able to do so will fast.

Even in the house of "Big Brother Vip" there are residents who will fast in this holy month. It is about Nita, Gerti and Fotinia.

The trio got up this morning for suhoor and I will remain fasting until around six in the afternoon when it is time to break their fast.

Ramadan is the name of the ninth month of the year in the Muslim lunar calendar, in which, according to Islamic tradition, Muhammad received the revelation of the Koran "as a guide for people with righteousness and salvation" (Sura II, v. 185).

It is the holy month of fasting, dedicated to prayer, meditation and self-discipline. Fasting is an obligation on all practicing, adult, healthy Muslims who cannot eat, drink, smoke or have sex from dawn to sunset for 30 days.

Minors, the elderly, the sick, the elderly and pregnant women are excluded from fasting. Menstruating women and those traveling are temporarily excluded.
