Kylie Minogue has ended her relationship with Paul Solomons after five years together. The 54-year-old is said to have parted ways with the former British creative director of "GQ" magazine after they tried to maintain a long-distance relationship.

The Australian returned to her home in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne after decades of living in Great Britain, while her boyfriend has stayed in the British capital.

And while they appeared to be struggling with the 11-hour time difference, a source told The Sun:

Kylie and Paul really tried to make things work, but the distance was 'killer'. Paul couldn't go to Melbourne for a weekend whenever things got tense.

However, the pair are said to have remained friends after their split. Kylie and Paul first met in February 2018 after being introduced by mutual friends, going public with their romance a few months later. They were thought to be engaged in 2021.

Kylie spent 30 years living and working in the UK, before confirming in 2021 that she would be returning to Australia. The couple were forced to spend nine months apart during the COVID-19 pandemic, but managed to keep their romance burning despite the long distance and reunited afterwards. Paul and Kylie were last seen in May 2022 as they attended the premiere of ABBA Voyage in London.
